About

A small company that ships.

True North Technology builds and operates its own software, and takes on a small number of engagements where that experience is the point.

How the work actually happens

True North owns the build start to finish. There is no account layer between you and the people doing the work, and nobody is learning your domain on your budget.

The tooling does the repetitive part. We run an agent-assisted workflow across audits, migrations, and test coverage, which is how a small senior team carries scope that normally needs a large one. You are buying the output, not the headcount.

What we believe

  • Clarity over velocity. Running fast in the wrong direction is still wrong.
  • Maintainability over novelty. Boring technology scales better.
  • Leverage over headcount. Small teams with better tools win.
  • AI is infrastructure, not magic. Models are components in a system, and judgment stays human.

Two branches

The product side builds and runs software we own. The services side takes that same practice into a small number of client builds. Neither subsidizes the other, and neither is a side project.
